Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum – 315AW | 70 Min Runtime | All Floors Cones Sense | Black/Copper | 499085-01

The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum 499085-01 in Black and Copper is Dyson's most powerful anti-tangle cordless vacuum, designed to deliver deep cleaning across carpets and hard floors while tackling long hair, pet hair, fine dust and everyday debris. Combining a new high-performance motor, intelligent floor detection and Dyson's innovative compressing bin technology, it offers powerful whole-home cleaning without the restriction of a power cable.

At its core is Dyson's new 900W Hyperdymium digital motor, producing up to 315 Air Watts of fade-free suction. The powerful motor works alongside Dyson's Dynamic Cyclones separation system to maintain strong airflow and efficiently separate dust and debris. When additional cleaning power is required, extra cyclones can automatically activate in Boost mode to increase suction for more demanding areas.

The innovative All Floors Cones Sense cleaner head is designed to clean multiple floor types without needing to manually change heads. Two rotating conical brush bars spiral long hair and pet hair away from the rollers and direct it into the bin, helping prevent tangles. The cleaner head can also automatically recognise the floor surface and adapt its performance accordingly, delivering effective cleaning across both carpets and hard flooring.

On hard floors, an integrated 90° field of illumination reveals microscopic dust and fine particles that can otherwise be difficult to see. This makes it easier to identify areas that still require cleaning, while the LCD screen provides real-time information on captured particle sizes, cleaning mode and remaining battery life.

The new CleanCompaktor bin mechanically compresses collected dust and debris, allowing the 1.3-litre bin to hold up to approximately 30 days' worth of dirt depending on usage. When it is time to empty the vacuum, the internal mechanism wipes the walls of the bin as debris is released, helping reduce leftover dust and tangled hair for cleaner, more hygienic emptying.

A high-capacity lithium-ion battery delivers up to 70 minutes of fade-free cordless runtime in Eco mode, providing plenty of time for whole-home cleaning. Three cleaning modes – Eco, Auto and Boost – allow you to balance runtime and suction depending on the task, while the click-in battery design makes charging and battery replacement straightforward.

The V16 Piston Animal also offers versatile above-floor cleaning. Tools can be accessed directly from the wand for quick transitions between floor cleaning, furniture, stairs and hard-to-reach areas, while the included Hair Screw Tool is designed to remove long hair and pet hair from upholstery and smaller surfaces without becoming tangled.

Advanced HEPA filtration captures 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns, helping trap fine dust and allergens inside the machine. MyDyson app compatibility also provides access to cleaning statistics, maintenance advice and personalised support.

With its combination of class-leading 315AW suction, automatic floor adaptation, long-hair de-tangling technology and up to 70 minutes of runtime, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal 499085-01 is an excellent premium cordless vacuum for busy households, pet owners and anyone looking for powerful whole-home cleaning.
