Why is my washing machine not draining properly?
- Clogged drain hose: disconnect and check for debris.
- Blocked pump filter: locate and clean it — this is a very common cause.
- Faulty pump: if broken, water can't be removed from the drum — you may need a technician.
- Kinked or clogged hose: straighten it and clear any obstructions.
- Drain height: check it sits within the range set out in your manual, usually around 60–100cm from the floor.
