Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine Wet & Dry Cordless Vacuum – 315AW | 70 Min Runtime | Submarine 2.0 | Black/Copper | 499087-01

The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine Wet & Dry Cordless Vacuum 499087-01 is a powerful 3-in-1 floorcare system designed to vacuum carpets and hard floors, wash sealed hard flooring and convert into a handheld cleaner for furniture, stairs and hard-to-reach areas. Combining Dyson's latest cordless vacuum technology with the Submarine 2.0 wet roller head, it offers a flexible whole-home cleaning solution for dry debris, pet hair, spills and stubborn stains.

At the heart of the V16 Piston Animal Submarine is Dyson's latest 900W Hyperdymium digital motor, producing up to 315 Air Watts of fade-free suction in Boost mode. This high suction power helps lift fine dust, larger debris and embedded dirt from carpets and hard floors, while Dyson's advanced cyclone system separates collected particles from the airflow to help maintain consistent cleaning performance.

The new All Floors Cones Sense cleaner head automatically adapts as you move between different floor types. Its dual conical brush bars are specifically designed to spiral hair away from the rollers and into the bin, helping prevent tangles even with long hair and pet hair. On hard flooring, an integrated illumination system projects light across the surface to reveal fine dust that can otherwise be difficult to see.

For wet cleaning, the Submarine 2.0 wet roller head washes sealed hard floors using a motorised microfibre roller. It is designed to tackle everyday spills, dirt and dried-on stains, while a dedicated Max mode provides additional cleaning performance for tougher marks. This makes it possible to vacuum and wash different areas of the home using a single cordless system.

Dyson's CleanCompaktor bin compresses collected dust and debris inside the machine, allowing it to hold up to approximately 30 days of dirt depending on usage. When the bin is emptied, the internal mechanism wipes the bin walls clean, helping reduce leftover dust and tangled hair while making disposal more hygienic.

The V16 Piston Animal Submarine also includes Dynamic Cyclones, which can activate five additional cyclones when extra suction is required. Hidden built-in tools are stored within the wand for quick access when moving from floor cleaning to above-floor jobs, while the vacuum can also convert into a handheld cleaner for upholstery, stairs and vehicle interiors.

An integrated LCD screen provides real-time information while you clean, including particle detection data and machine status. The vacuum also connects to the MyDyson app, giving you access to personalised cleaning information, machine performance insights, maintenance guidance and compatible settings.

With up to 70 minutes of cordless runtime in Eco mode with a non-motorised tool, powerful 315AW suction and dedicated wet and dry cleaning heads, the Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine 499087-01 is a premium choice for households looking for one versatile machine to tackle carpets, hard floors, pet hair and wet messes.
