MEATER Pro XL WiFi Smart Meat Thermometer – 4 Wireless Probes | 550°C Heat Resistance | OLED Hub | 118-RTE-MT-MX201

The MEATER Pro XL WiFi Smart Meat Thermometer 118-RTE-MT-MX201 is designed for serious home cooks, barbecue enthusiasts and anyone who wants precise wireless temperature monitoring across multiple foods at once. Supplied with four completely wireless probes, it allows you to track several cuts of meat simultaneously, making it ideal for large roasts, family barbecues, smokers and occasions where different guests prefer different levels of doneness.

Each probe contains five internal temperature sensors and one ambient sensor, giving the system multiple measurement points inside the food while also monitoring the surrounding cooking temperature. Internal temperatures can be measured up to 105°C, while the ambient end of each probe is designed to withstand temperatures up to 550°C, making the Pro XL suitable for high-heat grilling and searing as well as conventional oven cooking.

Built-in WiFi connectivity extends monitoring beyond normal Bluetooth range. The Pro XL hub connects to your home network and can relay cooking data through the MEATER Cloud, allowing you to keep an eye on temperatures from elsewhere in the house or remotely through the MEATER app. Bluetooth 5.2 Coded PHY provides the direct connection between the probes and hub.

The integrated OLED display and touch-capacitive controls also allow the MEATER Pro XL to operate in Standalone Mode without requiring a smartphone. This is particularly useful when you want quick temperature feedback directly from the hub or prefer not to rely on the app during cooking.

For guided cooking, the MEATER app includes a Guided Cook System that walks you through the cooking process and allows custom temperature or time alerts to be set. The Advanced Estimator Algorithm calculates expected cooking and resting times, helping you plan when food will be ready and reducing the guesswork when preparing larger meals.

The stainless-steel probes are fully waterproof and dishwasher safe, making cleanup straightforward after roasting, grilling or smoking. Their slim 5mm diameter helps minimise the size of the insertion point, while the charging hub is finished in real bamboo for a premium look that works well both in the kitchen and beside the barbecue.

Battery performance is designed for longer cooks too. A full probe charge provides approximately 24–48 hours of use, while the hub itself offers around 24 hours of continuous WiFi operation. The probes can also gain enough charge for around a two-hour cook from just five minutes of charging, with USB-C used to recharge the hub.

With four high-temperature wireless probes, WiFi monitoring, standalone OLED controls and intelligent cooking guidance, the MEATER Pro XL is an excellent choice for users who want accurate, flexible temperature monitoring across complex cooks, multiple dishes and high-heat barbecue sessions.
