Dimplex Ignite Evolve 50 Electrical Fire | EVO1200

The Dimplex Ignite Evolve 50" Electric Fire EVO1200 is a premium built-in linear electric fireplace designed to create a striking focal point in modern living rooms and media walls. Its wide 50-inch format, slim profile and edge-to-edge glass provide an expansive view of the flame effect, while the shallow installation depth of approximately 14.7cm makes it particularly suitable for contemporary feature-wall installations.

At the heart of the Ignite Evolve is Dimplex’s latest Optiflame Evolve flame technology, which creates a layered and highly customisable flame display. Multiple colour themes and adjustable flame-speed settings allow you to tailor the appearance to suit your room and mood, while the included driftwood logs and coloured glass media add extra depth and realism to the fuel bed. An integrated ambient light sensor can also adapt the firebox lighting to the surrounding room conditions.

The EVO1200 is more than a visual feature, offering useful supplementary heating through Dimplex’s ComfortSaver heating system. It delivers approximately 1.8–1.9kW of heat output depending on supply voltage, helping warm the room when required while maintaining a comfortable and stable temperature. You can also operate the flame effect independently of the heater, allowing you to enjoy the ambience of the fireplace throughout the year.

Control is flexible and convenient, with both a full-function remote control and smartphone app compatibility. Features such as a 7-day timer, sleep mode and adjustable lighting settings make it easy to personalise both the look and operation of the fire without leaving your seat.

With overall dimensions of approximately 1306mm wide, 419mm high and 147mm deep, the Dimplex Ignite Evolve 50 offers the visual impact of a wide linear fireplace without requiring a deep installation cavity. Its combination of advanced flame effects, flexible controls and integrated heating makes the EVO1200 an excellent choice for contemporary living spaces, media walls and feature fireplaces.
