Its 2K 3MP camera captures sharp 2304 × 1296 video, while the ultra-wide 160° field of view provides head-to-toe coverage of visitors and deliveries at your entrance. Infrared night vision also provides visibility up to 7.6 metres after dark.

Built-in AI person detection can identify when someone approaches your door and send real-time alerts without requiring a subscription. When a visitor presses the doorbell, the Doorbell Call feature can alert your phone, while two-way audio lets you speak directly with visitors through the Tapo app. Custom activity zones and preset Quick Responses give you added control over alerts and conversations.

The integrated 5,200mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 180 days of battery life under TP-Link's test conditions, helping reduce how often you need to recharge. USB-C charging is built in, and the TD20 also supports compatible Tapo A200, A201 and A202 solar panels for an alternative way to keep the battery topped up.

With an IP54 weather-resistant design, the TD20 is built for outdoor installation. Recordings can be stored locally on a microSD card up to 512GB or through an optional Tapo Care cloud subscription. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, while compatible Tapo H100, H200 and H500 hubs can be used as indoor chimes if required.
