Dyson PencilWash Wet Floor Cleaner – 30 Min Runtime | Self-Cleaning Microfibre Roller | 100m² Coverage | 637218-01

The Dyson PencilWash Wet Floor Cleaner 637218-01 is a lightweight, slimline floor cleaner designed specifically for washing sealed hard floors. Combining wet and dry debris removal in a single pass, it can tackle spills, stains, dust and everyday dirt while continuously refreshing its cleaning roller with clean water. Its self-propelled design and ultra-slim handle make it easy to guide around furniture, along edges and through busy areas of the home.

At the centre of the PencilWash is a highly absorbent 64,000-filament microfibre roller. As the roller rotates, it lifts wet spills, stains and dry debris from the floor at the same time. Dirty water and collected debris are continuously extracted from the roller on every rotation, helping prevent grime from being redistributed across the surface.

A dedicated eight-point hydration system continuously feeds clean water across the width of the roller, providing even coverage from one side to the other. The 300ml clean-water tank is located close to the cleaner head for improved balance and can cover up to approximately 100m², equivalent to around 500 standard floor tiles, before needing to be refilled.

The PencilWash is designed to feel exceptionally light and easy to control. Its slim handle measures just 38mm in diameter and places only around 380g of weight in the hand, while the powered roller creates a self-propelled motion that helps the cleaner glide naturally across the floor. A flexible neck allows smooth steering around obstacles and furniture legs.

For cleaning beneath beds, sofas and other low furniture, the low-profile design can recline backwards by up to 170 degrees without losing cleaning performance. This makes it easier to reach areas that can be awkward to access with larger upright floor washers.

A MAX mode provides extra cleaning performance for tougher dried-on marks and localised stains. Once cleaning is complete, the PencilWash leaves only a light layer of moisture behind, helping floors dry quickly so rooms can return to normal use sooner.

The four-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 minutes of cordless runtime, while the LED display shows the selected cleaning mode, remaining battery charge and maintenance alerts. The cleaner is supplied with a wand charging dock and clip-on drip tray, giving it a compact and convenient storage solution between uses.

Suitable for sealed tile, vinyl, laminate and wooden floors, the Dyson PencilWash 637218-01 is an excellent choice for households looking for a lightweight, hygienic way to wash hard floors while dealing with both wet and dry everyday messes.
