Dyson Big Ball Turbine Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner – Turbinehead | Ball Technology | Self-Righting Design | 640997-01

The Dyson Big Ball Turbine Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner 640997-01 is designed for powerful whole-home cleaning across carpets, hard floors, laminate and tiles. Combining Dyson's cyclonic cleaning technology with a versatile Turbinehead floor tool, it effectively tackles everyday dust, dirt, hair and debris while its distinctive Ball design makes the cleaner easy to manoeuvre around furniture and other obstacles.

Dyson's Radial Root Cyclone technology uses powerful centrifugal forces to separate fine dust and allergens from the airflow, helping maintain strong suction throughout your clean. Because the system is completely bagless, there are no replacement dust bags to purchase, while the generously sized dust container means you can cover larger areas before needing to stop and empty the machine.

The supplied Turbinehead cleaner head is designed to work across multiple floor types, helping lift dirt and hair from carpet fibres while also providing effective pickup on hard flooring. Its adjustable design makes it suitable for moving between different surfaces around the home, while additional quick-release accessories help you tackle furniture, stairs, edges and harder-to-reach areas.

Dyson's signature Ball Technology places key components within the ball-shaped body, allowing the vacuum to pivot and steer more naturally as you move around corners and furniture. The articulated wand further improves manoeuvrability when cleaning above floor level or reaching into awkward spaces, making it easier to cover the entire home with fewer interruptions.

One of the most convenient features of the Dyson Big Ball design is its self-righting body. If the vacuum is knocked onto its side while cleaning, it is engineered to automatically return itself to an upright position rather than requiring you to stop and lift it manually. This is particularly useful when moving quickly between rooms or cleaning around large pieces of furniture.

A hygienic bagless emptying system allows collected dust and debris to be released directly into the bin, helping minimise contact with the contents. Filtration is designed to capture fine particles and allergens, making the Big Ball Turbine a practical option for households where dust management is particularly important.

With strong multi-floor performance, easy steering, a self-righting design and versatile cleaning tools, the Dyson Big Ball Turbine 640997-01 is a dependable corded cylinder vacuum for regular whole-home cleaning.
