The C2 Lite can reach a maximum speed of up to 16km/h, with three different riding modes allowing the experience to be adjusted to suit the rider. Standard Mode limits the speed to around 12km/h for more relaxed riding, while Sport Mode allows speeds of up to 16km/h. A Power-Assisting Mode provides additional motor assistance while the rider pushes along, giving beginners another way to become comfortable with the scooter.

Its 56Wh, 21.6V battery provides a theoretical riding range of up to 14km, or approximately 9km when travelling continuously at maximum speed. Charging takes up to around 5.5 hours, while Segway's Smart Battery Management System helps monitor and protect the battery during everyday use. Actual riding range will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, speed and riding conditions.

The scooter rides on 7-inch solid rubber tyres, eliminating the need to worry about punctures while providing dependable grip. A low centre of gravity, anti-slip footboard and hand-operated rear drum brake are designed to give younger riders greater stability and control. Reflective detailing also improves visibility, while the sturdy frame supports riders up to approximately 50kg.

Colour-changing RGB ambient lighting beneath the footboard adds a fun visual element, while the easy-to-read battery indicator helps riders keep track of remaining charge. Weighing only around 7.8kg, the C2 Lite is relatively easy for an adult to lift, transport and store when not in use.
