AF451UK vs AF400UK: which Ninja air fryer should you choose?

Both the AF451UK and AF400UK offer Ninja's 9.5L two-drawer design, six cooking functions and SYNC and MATCH controls. The AF451UK adds an included Smart Cook digital probe. Choose it if you regularly cook meat or fish and want to monitor the food's internal temperature rather than relying on cooking time alone. If you mainly prepare chips, vegetables or frozen favourites and do not need the probe, the AF400UK offers the core dual-zone features.

Two different foods, ready together

Roast chicken in one drawer while the other cooks vegetables or potatoes. Each zone has its own settings, so there is no need to treat the whole meal as one cooking programme. Use SYNC to coordinate the finishing times; use MATCH when you want more of the same dish. The digital controls show the progress of your cooking.

Good to know before buying

The Smart Cook probe connects to Zone 1 only; Zone 2 remains available for a side dish. Max Crisp is useful for frozen foods, while Bake, Reheat and Dehydrate give you options beyond everyday air frying. The non-stick drawers and crisper plates are dishwasher safe, although hand-washing the drawers can help protect their finish. Never place the main unit or digital probe in the dishwasher.
