Nedis Portable Emergency AM/FM Radio with Hand Crank, Solar Charging, LED Torch & 2000mAh Power Bank - Black | 471447
Stay informed, connected and prepared with the Nedis Portable Emergency AM/FM Radio in Black. Featuring three convenient charging methods, a built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery, LED torch and emergency power bank functionality, this versatile portable radio is ideal for power cuts, camping trips, outdoor adventures and emergency preparedness. With traditional AM/FM reception and a compact, lightweight design, it provides a practical source of news, information and lighting when access to electricity is limited.
Reliable AM/FM Radio Reception
Stay connected to important news, weather updates and your favourite radio stations with built-in AM and FM reception.
The radio supports FM frequencies from 87.5 to 107.5MHz and AM frequencies from 520 to 1680kHz, allowing you to listen to available broadcasts without an internet connection.
A telescopic antenna helps improve signal reception, while the analogue tuning controls make finding stations straightforward.
Three Convenient Charging Methods
Keep your radio powered with three flexible charging options:
-
Hand-Crank Dynamo – Generate electricity manually by turning the built-in crank.
-
Solar Panel – Recharge the internal battery using available sunlight.
-
USB-C Charging – Connect the radio to a compatible USB power source for convenient everyday charging.
These versatile charging methods make the radio particularly useful during power cuts or when spending time away from mains electricity.
Built-In 2000mAh Rechargeable Battery
Enjoy portable listening with the integrated 2000mAh lithium-ion battery.
Providing up to six hours of radio playback under manufacturer test conditions, the rechargeable battery allows you to listen without constantly relying on an electrical socket.
The included USB-C charging cable makes recharging straightforward, while solar and hand-crank charging provide useful backup options.
Hand-Crank Emergency Power
Be better prepared when electricity is unavailable with the practical hand-crank dynamo.
According to Nedis, approximately one minute of manual cranking can provide enough energy for three to five minutes of radio operation or five to ten minutes of flashlight use under specified conditions.
This makes the radio particularly useful for emergency kits, camping and outdoor activities where charging options may be limited.
Emergency Power Bank Function
Keep compatible mobile devices supplied with limited backup power using the integrated power bank function.
The radio features a USB-A output, allowing you to connect a suitable charging cable to provide emergency power to a smartphone or other small electronic device.
Its 2000mAh battery is intended for emergency top-ups rather than replacing a dedicated high-capacity power bank.
Built-In LED Torch
Illuminate dark areas with the integrated LED flashlight.
Whether you're navigating your home during a power cut, looking for equipment while camping or needing additional light outdoors, the built-in torch provides convenient illumination without carrying a separate flashlight.
SOS Emergency Light Signal
The integrated SOS light function provides an additional signalling option during emergencies.
Designed to help attract attention when assistance is needed, this practical feature makes the Nedis Emergency Radio a useful addition to a household emergency kit or outdoor equipment bag.
Convenient Built-In Speaker
Listen to radio broadcasts through the integrated mono speaker.
With a manufacturer-rated 2.8W RMS speaker output, the radio provides a practical standalone listening solution without requiring headphones or external speakers.
Compact and Portable Design
Designed for use at home and outdoors, the Nedis Emergency Radio features a lightweight Black housing with straightforward controls.
Its compact construction makes it easy to store in a drawer, backpack, caravan or emergency supplies kit.
The telescopic antenna can be folded away when not in use, making the radio convenient to carry and store.
USB-C Charging Cable Included
The radio comes complete with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, allowing you to recharge it from a compatible USB power source.
A separate USB mains adapter is not included.
Ideal for Power Cuts and Outdoor Adventures
Whether you're preparing for unexpected power outages, heading away on a camping trip or simply looking for a practical portable radio, the Nedis Emergency AM/FM Radio combines several useful functions in one compact appliance.
With three charging methods, a rechargeable 2000mAh battery, emergency power bank, LED torch and SOS light signal, it's an excellent choice for staying informed and better prepared wherever you go.
