The infrared sensor allows for non-contact measurements to be taken from 1-5cm away, offering extra protection against cross-contamination and spreading infections. Instant Reading The HoMedics Non-Contact Infrared Body Thermometer provides instant readings with a one-button control. After taking the measurement, the results will display in less than 2 seconds. Easy To Read Icons After the measurement is complete, the temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen and the backlight colour will change to red, green or yellow. With the colour coded results, easily understand your measurements. Green - Normal Temperature. Yellow - Slight fever warning. Red - High fever. Non-invasive Using a standard thermometer can sometimes be quite invasive, particularly for children who aren't aware of why they're having their temperature taken from their ear, armpit or mouth.
