E-Readers
E-Readers
If books are the main reason, you are shopping; an e‑reader is usually the better answer than a standard tablet. It gives you a more paper-like reading experience, is easier on the eyes and is much better suited to reading in bright sunlight.
The first choice is usually simple: do you want a straightforward black-and-white reader for novels and everyday reading, or do you want a colour model for comics, magazines and illustrated content? Once you answer that, the range becomes much easier to shop for.
Screen size also matters more than people think. A smaller 6-inch e‑reader is brilliant for travel and casual reading. A 7-inch or 7.8-inch model makes more sense when you want more text on screen, more immersive reading or a better fit for illustrated content.
